- Security – Manageable and secure identity authentication/authorization infrastructure including cryptography and security protocols
- VoIP – Protocols, gateways and algorithms for seamless deployment of VoIP. Technology that ensures VoIP traffic obtains the desired service levels when competing for bandwidth with other traffic
