DRDC Contracts Solana Networks to Work on Service Overlay Topologies in Ad Hoc Wireless Networks
Solana Networks announces that it has been selected by Defence R&D Canada (DRDC Valcartier) to study the viability of service overlay networks for mobile ad hoc wireless (MANET) networks. The study will examine the issues associated with using dynamically created overlay network topologies (peer-to-peer) for creating secure groups in a mobile ad hoc wireless network.
Solana Networks is a provider of intelligent network performance and security monitoring and diagnostics solutions for next generation wired and wireless IP networks. DRDC, an agency of the Department of National Defence, provides scientific research and development of applied technology, and is a leader in the exploitation of wireless and information technologies for defence applications.
