NSERC funds UOIT Project on Situational Awareness Tool for Tactical Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

UOIT (University of Ontario Institute of Technology), with the support of industrial partner Solana Networks, has been awarded an NSERC grant to pursue research and advanced technology collaboration in the area of “Situational Awareness Tools for Tactical Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks”. Solana Networks will be working with Professor Shahram Heydari on advanced research issues including network discovery in a Mobile Ad-Hoc wireless network (MANET).

Solana Networks is an NSERC partner and maintains strong collaborative ties with universities in Ontario and Quebec.
