Feb 1, 2011

Solana Networks is pleased to announce that it has recently signed a Distributor agreement with Orizon Systems Co Ltd. The companies will work together to market Solana’s SmartHawk Network Discovery and Route Analytics products in Japan.

Solana Networks SmartHawk family of products provides powerful automated discovery and mapping capabilities for enterprise networks. It provides visibility into Layer 3 routed IP networks using Route Analytics technology as well as automatically discovers Layer 2 Ethernet topologies using SNMP-based technology. More recently, SmartHawk includes support for monitoring Netflow data and mapping it onto the discovered network map. The combination of route intelligence and statistical traffic information is extremely useful for proactive and predictive network operations/planning.

As Solana’s first partner in the Asia-Pacific region, Orizon’s strong partnerships with system integrators will serve to spearhead its entry into the Japanese market. Orizon’s CEO Yoshio Suga is very excited about this new partnership to address increasing client requests for Route Analytics and Network/Topology Change management.
