Carleton University and Solana Networks conduct research on Network Traffic Classification
Carleton University and Solana Networks have been awarded an NSERC grant to pursue research and advanced technology collaboration in the area of “Network Traffic Classification”. Solana Networks will be working with Professor Chang Cheng Huang of the Systems and Computer Engineering Department at Carleton on advanced research issues with application to the field of network and security monitoring. The research will focus on studying fast and accurate means of application identification from traffic summary information.
