Solana Networks To Deploy Anomaly Detection Solution on Canadian Defence Network

Jul 2, 2012

Solana Networks is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with the federal government to deploy its SmartFlow security anomaly detection product at one of the site networks for the Department of National Defence (DND). SmartFlow flags unusual network behaviour and network anomalies. It detects cyber security threats such as Botnets and unwanted network traffic such as address scans and port scans which are early signs of a security threat on the network. The SmartFlow technology is intended to detect new threats that may not be detected by other signature-based security monitoring products. The company developed the new system to adapt to the constantly changing landscape of cyber threats, which are increasingly becoming more and more complex and harder to detect.
