Solana Networks has an opening for a Network Software Developer. The successful candidate will be comfortable using standard software development tools and practices to produce robust software. Candidates should enjoy working as part of small, flexible and nimble teams.
Position Overview
- Design and develop network protocol software for wireless networks
- Carry out test, evaluation and analysis of implemented solutions
- Develop AI-powered solutions for next generation networks
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- A minimum of intermediate-level software development experience
- Strong C/C++ programming experience
- Experience developing software for Linux systems
- Experience developing software for network protocol stacks
- Strong problem solving abilities;
- Ability to research state of the art solutions and apply innovative thinking
The following are desirable:
- Experience developing software for mobile wireless networks – 3G, 4G or 5G
- Experience making software modifications to open source libraries
- Software development with large software systems
- Experience with Virtual Machines / Docker
- Experience with Python and Java
- Experience developing AI solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years software development experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Systems/Computer Engineering or related field
